Travel Vaccinationsglobal air travel

If you require advice OR vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to make an appointment at least SIX (6) weeks before travel with the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements. This will include exploring which countries and areas you are visiting to determine what vaccinations / precautions are required.  For information on vaccinations that may be required please click here or see links below.

Please see links below for information about countries and vaccinations required:

Europe Europe & Russia North America North America
Central America Central America South America South America
Caribbean Caribbean Africa Africa
Middle East Middle East Central Asia Central Asia
East Asia East Asia Australasia Australasia and Pacific

It is important to make an appointment as early as possible - but must be at least SIX (6) weeks before you travel - as a second appointment MAY be required, particularly if requiring a course of vaccinations and some vaccines have to be ordered as they are not  stock items.  This also ensures you develop immunity (or protection) before travelling.

We hold monthly Travel Clinics and, if we have capacity, you will be booked for an initial assessment appointment.  If we are unable to arrange an appointment for you within six weeks before you travel, you WILL need to attend a local private travel clinic.

Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these will incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge. This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS.
