NEW Self Referral

There are many services you can go to in Brighton and Hove without needing to see your GP (or practice nurse) first for a referral.

Receptionists at Warmdene are an important part of our team and, a number of them have been trained to be able to signpost you to some of these services if appropriate, known locally as 'Active Signposting'.

This will help you see the right professional, first time, without the delay of seeing a GP first.

In order to do this, our Receptionists are trained to ask you about the reason for your appointment. You do not have to disclose this - however, if you do, it may mean you get seen by the right professional sooner.

If our receptionist offers you the opportunity to self-refer to one of these services, but you would prefer to continue to request an appointment with a GP or nurse, they will be able to accommodate this as normal.

For information about which services are available for self-referral within Brighton and Hove follow the link here which will take you to the Brighton and Hove CCG website.
